6. Remove the steering column lock housing bearing and steering column lock gear. Thoroughly clean all drill shavings from the steering column and
inspect it for damage.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

Verify ignition switch lock cylinder operation.
NOTE: Use a new ignition switch lock cylinder.
