Town Car V8-4.6L SOHC VIN W (1999)
NOTE: The rear suspension lower arms are interchangeable from side-to-side with "OUTBOARD" stamped on the side of the arm for positioning
during installation.
Position the rear suspension lower arm to the frame bracket and install a new pivot bolt and nut. Insert the bolt so the nut faces inboard. Do not
tighten at this time.
2. Position the rear suspension lower arm to the axle bracket and install a new pivot bolt and nut. Insert the bolt so the nut faces outboard. Do not
tighten at this time.
3. Raise the axle assembly to the position that compresses the shock absorber to the previously established alignment mark (curb height).
4. Tighten the rear suspension lower arm to the frame bracket pivot bolt.
5. Tighten the rear suspension lower arm to axle bracket pivot bolt.
