Removal and Installation
1. WARNING: If the vehicle is equipped with air suspension, the electrical power to the air suspension system must be shut off prior to
hoisting, jacking or towing an air suspension vehicle. This can be accomplished by turning off the air suspension switch located in the
luggage compartment. Failure to do so can result in unexpected inflation or deflation of the air springs, which can result in shifting of the
vehicle during these operations. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. CAUTION: Do not pry in the caliper sight hole to retract the pistons, as this can damage the pistons and boots.
CAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.
Remove the 2 brake caliper bolts and position the caliper aside.

Support the caliper using mechanic's wire.

To install, tighten to 36 Nm (27 ft. lbs.).
