Removal and Installation
WARNING:

Do not carry personal electronic devices such as cell phones, pagers or audio equipment of any type when working on or near any

in personal injury.

The electrical power to the air suspension system must be shut off prior to hoisting, jacking or towing an air suspension vehicle. This can
be accomplished by turning the air suspension switch located in the luggage compartment on the LH side to the OFF position. Failure to
do so may result in unexpected inflation or deflation of the air springs, which may result in shifting of the vehicle during these operations.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the fuel tank filler cap.
4. Insert a suitable fuel drain tube into the fuel tank filler pipe until it reaches the check valve.
5. Attach the fuel storage tanker to the fuel drain tube and remove any residual fuel in the fuel tank filler pipe.
6. CAUTION: Do not damage the retainer ring during removal or the filler cap may not seal.
Remove the 3 fuel tank filler pipe retaining bolts.

To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
7. Disconnect the vapor recirculation tube quick connect coupling.
