Town Car V8-4.6L VIN V Flex Fuel (2006)
8. CAUTION: The dogpoint screw has a blunt end and must be used.
Remove the screw.

To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
9. Position a suitable lifting device under the fuel tank.
10. NOTE: Discard old retaining nuts. Do not reuse.
Remove the fuel tank strap retaining nuts and position the straps away from the fuel tank.

To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
11. Partially lower the fuel tank to allow fuel tank filler pipe removal.
12. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe assembly.

Rotate the fuel tank filler pipe counterclockwise 1/2 turn and remove from the fuel tank.
13. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe grommet and discard.

Upon installation, coat with petroleum jelly.
14. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
