A. Tighten to 1-2 Nm(9-17 Lb-In)
B. Tighten to 4-8 Nm (35-70 Lb-In)
C. Tighten to 7-11 Nm (62-97 Lb-In)
D. Tighten to 33-45 Nm (24-33 Lb-Ft)

REMOVAL

1. Remove front door trim panel and watershield.
2. Check all connections on front door latch and front door latch remote control and link and service if necessary.
3. Remove one screw retaining front door latch remote control and link to front door and front door latch remote control and link retaining clip.

Remove front door latch remote control and link.

4. Remove clip retaining front door latch control cylinder rod to door lock cylinder.
5. Remove clip from power door lock actuator.
6. Remove clip retaining door latch control rod knob to front door latch.
7. Remove clip retaining front door latch actuating rod to front door latch.
8. Remove three screws retaining front door latch to front door.
9. Remove front door latch (with front door latch control cylinder rod) and anti-theft shield from front door cavity.

10. Transfer bushings and retaining clips along with front door latch control cylinder rod and anti-theft shield to new front door latch.

INSTALLATION

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2.  Tighten front door latch retaining bolts to 4-8 Nm (35-70 Lb-In). Tighten front door latch remote control and link retaining screws to 1-2 Nm

(9-17 Lb-In).
