Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair
Rear Door Latch linkage

REMOVAL

1. Remove rear door trim panel and watershield.
2. Remove the rivet retaining the rear door latch bellcrank to the door inner panel. Disconnect the rear door latch bellcrank from the rear door latch

control rod link by unclipping the retainer.

3. Remove the rear door latch push button rod from the rear door latch bellcrank. Remove rear door latch bellcrank.
4. Transfer bushing and retaining clips to new rear door latch bellcrank.

INSTALLATION

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Use Heavy Duty Riveter D80L-23200-A or equivalent to install rivet retaining rear door latch bellcrank to rear door.
