Rear Hub Runout
7. If the runout is not within specification, remove the wheel and tire assembly. Remove rotor and measure the hub flange mounting face outside of
the stud circle.
8. If the runout of the hub flange exceeds specification, install a new hub and bearing assembly and repeat flange face runout measurement. Reinstall
the rotor and repeat the rotor runout measurement.
9. Wheel hub runout must be less than 0.06 mm (0.002 inch). If the runout of the hub flange is within specification, reindex the rotor to the hub,
reinstall wheel and repeat the measurement.
10. If the car mounted hub and rotor still exceeds the specification, replace the rotor, repeat the runout measurement and reindex the rotor if necessary.
11. Prior to reinstalling the rotor, clean the hub face and backside of rotor hat section of contaminants. Apply High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize
Lubricant F6AZ-9L494-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M12A4-A. Install rotor.
12. Reinstall the caliper and caliper bracket.
