REMOVAL

1. Remove instrument panel lower insulator from bottom of instrument panel on passenger side by disengaging four push pins and disconnecting

power point electrical connector.

2. Remove nut retaining harness/connector support bracket and position bracket aside.
3. Remove the spring nut retaining the heater and A/C air inlet duct door vacuum control motor arm to the heater and A/C air inlet duct door crank

arm.

4. Disengage the vacuum control motor arm and washer from the crank arm.
5. Disconnect the white vacuum hose connector from the vacuum control motor.
6. Remove two nuts retaining the vacuum control motor and the assist spring bracket to the air inlet duct mounting bracket. Remove the vacuum

control motor.

INSTALLATION

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
