ENGINE CALIBRATIONS IS UNAUTHORIZED AND COULD CREATE LIABILITY UNDER APPLICABLE FEDERAL OR LOCAL LAWS.

ISSUE
Some vehicles may stall when decelerating or turning with no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in continuous memory. This may be due to the
Powertrain Control Module (PCM) strategy not being able to adjust quickly enough to sudden variations in the flow of fuel vapors from the evaporative
emissions system.

ACTION
Perform the following Service Procedure. All diagnostic steps must be followed to ensure the integrity of the evaporative emissions system.
Reprogramming the PCM will not correct the concern if the evaporative emissions system is not functioning correctly. The revised PCM strategy will
adjust for the variations in purge flow on a properly functioning EVAP system.

Obtain an Authorized Modifications Decal (FPS 8262 obtainable through DOES II, 25/pkg) and list the date, dealer number, and summary of
modifications performed. Select a prominent place adjacent to the Vehicle Emission Control Information Decal suitable for installing the Authorized
Modifications Decal. Clean the area, install the decal, and cover it with a clear plastic decal shield.
