Seat Belt: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

Front Safety Belt

REMOVAL

1. Remove front track end cover.
2. Remove front center safety belt buckle end anchor nuts and washers (on LH side, disconnect safety belt buckle switch wire).
3. Slide the front seat center passenger belts through the slots in front seat and remove from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Slide front seat center passenger belts through slots in front seat.
2. Connect safety belt buckle switch wire on LH side and install washers and front seat center safety belt buckle end anchor nuts. Tighten nuts to 

61-90 Nm (45-66 lb ft).

3. Check the restraint system for proper operation and perform Functional Test Procedure.

Rear Seats

REMOVAL

1. Remove rear seat cushion.
2. Remove rear center safety bolt anchor nuts and rear safety belt and buckle.
