REAR DOOR LOCKS INOPERATIVE DUE TO FREEZING

BULLETIN NOTE

APPLICABLE MODEL(S) / VINS

DESCRIPTION

When ambient temperature rapidly drop below 0° F, especially after a rain or car wash, some vehicles may experience a rear door that is unable to open
due to an inoperative rear door lock. This symptom tends to occur when the power door lock is operated. Water enters inside the rear door latch (A) and
lock actuator, then becomes frozen and stuck.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
