Variable Tumble Solenoid Valve Inspection

VARIABLE TUMBLE SOLENOID VALVE INSPECTION [LF, L5]

Airflow Inspection

1. Remove the battery cover.  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the variable tumble solenoid valve.  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair

4. Inspect airflow between the ports under the following conditions.

If not as specified, replace the variable tumble solenoid valve.  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair
