Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
PASSENGER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Front scuff plate See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation
b. Front side trim See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Front Side Trim Removal/Installation
c. Dashboard under cover See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Dashboard Under Cover Removal/Installation
d. Front side wall See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Side Wall Removal/Installation
e. Console See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Console Removal/Installation
f.
Hood release lever See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch Release/Service and Repair
g. Lower panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Lower Panel Removal/Installation
3. Disconnect the passenger compartment temperature sensor connector.
4. Remove the screw.
5. Remove the passenger compartment temperature sensor.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
