Modified ETR

DESCRIPTION

The 1986 323 4-door sedan is equipped with an electronically tuned radio (ETR) made by Panasonic. The reception characteristics of this radio have
been modified in order to solve a fade problem.

If a customer complains about a fade problem and the vehicle is produced prior to production chance listed below, make arrangements to replace the
ETR with a modified exchange unit. All exchange ETRs have been modified after March, 1986.

The modified ETR can be distinguished as follows:

Exchange Unit:

A blue line under the serial number indicates an early serial number unit that has been modified.

Production and Service Unit (ie: other than Exchange Unit):

ETRs which have the serial number after 41381 have been modified.
