REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
Issued
7/8/87
4&5-Dr,& 323(W)
Revised

DESCRIPTION
On certain vehicles (as listed in this bulletin), there are two possible problems that may occur with the rear door weatherstrip.
1.
The weatherstrip may be torn at position "A".
2.
The weatherstrip may force itself out of the door sash at position "B", resulting in breakage.
These conditions are caused by a backward movement of the weatherstrip when the door is opened and shut.
To prevent the above problems from occurring, the following modifications have been made.
1.
The length of the weatherstrip has been shortened.
2.
The diameter of the pads has been changed.
3.
Double-sided self-adhesive tape has been newly installed.
4.
Adhesive agent has been newly applied.
