Water Pump: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Turn crankshaft so that No. 1 cylinder is at TDC of compression.
3.
Drain engine coolant.
4.
Remove drive belts.
5.
Remove water pump and crankshaft pulleys, and the baffle plate, if equipped.
6.
Remove timing belt as previously described.
7.
Remove coolant inlet pipe and gasket, then the water pump.
8.
Reverse procedure to install.
