NOTE:

The part number for the Hanger Clamp Kit (8AB1 40 351) is valid until March, 1988. After April 1988, please order the part using
individual part number ( item a thru f ).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

1). Clamp for Main Silencer Hanger.

In order to lower the noise level at around 3800 rpm, reinforce the hanger by joining the left side hanger of the main silencer with the silencer pipe by
using the U-bolts and the brackets as illustrated below.

2). No. 3 Engine Mount.

To lower the noise level at around 4200 rpm, replace the No. 3 engine mount with the new modified mount.

a). Support the engine with engine support 49E3 01 025A.

b).

Replace the No. 3 engine mount with the modified one.
