Install the new gasket, attaching the lower edge first, then the sides. The upper edge must be held in place for at least 30 seconds to properly
adhere on the housing.
On 626 5-door hatchback models:
1.
Remove two Philips screws holding trim cover on light housing and then remove three nuts holding the housing on the rear window.
2.
Remove old gasket and clean housing and lens. Window may be cleaned with glass cleaner, but use extreme caution not to rub too hard. Doing so
could cause damage to the defroster grid on the glass.
3.
Apply a strip of double-sided tape 12 cm long, 3 mm wide along the top edge of the housing, just above the lens.
