1. Turn the crankshaft and align the marks.

Mark the timing belt rotation for proper reinstallation.

INSPECTION

Inspect the following parts:
1. Timing belt
2. Timing belt tensioner and spring
3. Timing belt pulley
4. Camshaft pulley
