Ignition Cable: Description and Operation

Ignition wires conduct high secondary voltage from the coil to the distributor and then to each spark plug in proper sequence (firing order).  These wires
are constructed with a carbon impregnated, multi-filament synthetic fiber core.  To endure under hood temperatures, the core is surrounded by heat
resistant rubber insulation.  Built-in internal resistance (16K ohms per meter) functions to suppress radio static and eliminate interference with
computerized components and sensors.
