DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may exhibit power window motor noise from the front door during window operation. During operation, vibration of the power window
motor is transferred to the front door module and results in a whine noise.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify customer concern.
2. Remove the front door trim. Refer to MS3 online instructions or Workshop manual section 01-12 FRONT DOOR TRIM
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.
3. Remove the paper backing and apply the 17 (Mazda3) / 14 (Mazda5) silent pads (self-adhesive) to the front door as shown.
