DESCRIPTION
On some vehicles, the seat back warmer may be inoperative even if the switch is turned on.
NOTE:
This Service Bulletin only applies to vehicles with concerns related to SEAT BACK WARMER being inoperative. If the SEAT CUSHION WARMER
is also inoperative, please consult workshop manual for diagnosis and repairs.
This concern may be caused by seat back warmer harness breakage as shown at location (A).
Protection Tape (B), Protection Tube (C) and Harness Pad (D).
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify customer concern.
2. Replace the seat back warmer with a modified part according to the following procedure.
3. Remove the seat back trim according to TSB 09-076/09 (SEAT TRIM REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE).
