5. Press-in the bushing as shown, making note that press-in should be done from press-out side. Use the marking on the bushing cylinder area (from step
3) as a guide until measurement of the following press-in amount.
a. Set the bushing marking (A) to match one of the notches on the template (B), and then start to press-in.
b. As you are pressing-in, make sure that the markings on the bushing and template are closely matched (C).
c. After reaching a measurement of 16.2 to 18.2mm in length (D), excluding the thickness of the template, make sure the markings on the bushing and
template are closely matched, then finish the press-in process. If they are not matched, press-out the bushing and start again.
WARNING:
Repeated press-in can be performed up to 3 times. If exceeded, retention force will be lowered.
