Fuel Door Release Cable: Service and Repair
Fuel-Filler Lid Opener Cable Removal/Installation
FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Front seat (driver's seat) See: Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement
b. Front scuff plate (driver's side) See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation
c. Rear scuff plate (driver's side) See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation
d. Rear seat cushion See: Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Cushion Removal/Installation
e. Rear side seat back See: Seats/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Rear Side Seat Back Removal/Installation
f.
Trunk end trim See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation
g. Trunk side trim (driver's side)
h. Fuel-filler lid opener See: Fuel-Filler Lid Opener And Lever Removal/Installation
i.
Fuel-filler lid opener lever See: Fuel-Filler Lid Opener And Lever Removal/Installation
3. Remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
