Power Door Lock Switch: Testing and Inspection
DOOR LOCK SWITCH INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the inner garnish. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Inner

3. Remove the front door trim. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Door Trim Removal/Installation
4. Remove the inner handle. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Handle/Front Door Interior Handle/Service and Repair
5. Inspect for continuity between the door lock switch terminals using an ohmmeter.

If not as indicated in the table, replace the door lock switch.
6. Apply battery voltage to hazard switch terminal B, and connect terminal A to ground.
7. Verify that the LED illuminates.

If there is any malfunction, replace the door lock switch.
