DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may experience premature front brake pad wear under certain driving conditions (i.e. steep down hill driving with hard braking, etc.).

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

NOTE:

Brake pads are a wear item that are not covered under warranty.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer concern.

2. Replace the front brake pads and shims with new parts according to the online instructions on MS3 or the Workshop Manual (section 04-11 DISC

PAD (FRONT REPLACEMENT).

3. Verify repair.

The suggested labor time for brake pad replacement is 0.5 Hrs (both sides).
