Drive Belt Tensioner: Testing and Inspection
DRIVE BELT AUTO TENSIONER INSPECTION [L5]
1. Remove the drive belt. See: Drive Belt/Service and Repair
2. Verify that the drive belt auto tensioner moves smoothly in the operational direction.

Replace the drive belt auto tensioner if necessary. See: Service and Repair/Overhaul
3. Rotate the drive belt auto tensioner pulley by hand and verify that it rotates smoothly.

Replace the drive belt auto tensioner if necessary. See: Service and Repair/Overhaul
4. Install the drive belt. See: Drive Belt/Service and Repair
