Water or foreign objects entering the connector can cause a poor connection or corrosion. Be sure not to drop water or foreign objects on the
connector when disconnecting it.

Do not damage the terminals.
On-Vehicle Inspection
1. Perform the following procedures.
a. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
b. Remove the battery and battery tray. See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement
c. Remove the air cleaner component. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair
d. Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
2. Measure the resistance between input/turbine speed sensor terminals A and B.

If there is any malfunction, replace the input/turbine speed sensor. See: Service and Repair/Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Removal/Installation -

Off-Vehicle Inspection
1. Measure the resistance between input/turbine speed sensor terminals A and B.

If there is any malfunction, replace the input/turbine speed sensor. See: Service and Repair/Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Removal/Installation -
