g. Install new receiver.

h. Bind short cord and affix to vehicle harness with tie-wrap (A).

NOTE:Make sure that bound short cord is placed deep inside glove box to avoid interference.

I.

Cut tie-wrap (A) making sure that only 1-2 mm is left from tightened portion.

8. Reconnect negative battery cable.

9. Verify transmitter works properly to lock/unlock doors.

10. Install glove compartment and upper center panel.

11. Using a small flat screwdriver, push tab (A) lightly and separate original transmitter and key.

CAUTION:Be careful, the tab can be easily broken if pushed too hard.

12. Install separated key to new transmitter.

13. Insert Declaration of Conformity" leaflet into customer's Owners Manual.

NOTE:The Declaration of Conformity" leaflet contains certification to local radio acts (regulations).

14. Re-enter customer's preset radio stations.

15. Perform Power Window Initialization Procedure".

16. Verify repair.
