Carpet: Service and Repair

FLOOR COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts: 

a. Front seats  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement

b. Rear seat cushion  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Rear Seat/Rear Seat Cushion Removal/Installation

c. Audio amplifier (Vehicles with Bose(R) system)  See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact

Disc/Amplifier/Service and Repair

d. Front scuff plates  See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

e. Rear scuff plates  See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

f.

Front side trims  See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

3. Remove the fasteners A and B.
