If ribs are not present around stops, glove box is not modified. Proceed to Step 3.

3.

Using a 1/8" (3.1 mm) diameter drill bit, drill a hole through the right and left side glove box side walls at the center of each stopper.

4.

Reinstall glove box into vehicle.

5.

With glove box in open position, tighten LEFT side tapping screw (without any washers) into newly drilled hole.

CAUTION:

ONLY USE HAND TOOL FOR SCREW INSTALLATION. POWER TOOL COULD DAMAGE GLOVE BOX.

6.

Tighten RIGHT side tapping screw using two (1 mm) washers into newly drilled hole.
