If both lights turn red constantly when the ignition is in ACC or ON position, the system may be in fail-safe mode.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
Recovery procedure from fail-safe mode:
NOTE:
If the negative battery cable is disconnected during the repair, be sure to record the customers pre-set radio stations first.
1. Verify concern.
2. Repair vehicle based on stored DTCs.
NOTE:
Steps 3 - 7 below need to be completed within five (5) minutes.
3. Clear all DTC(s).
4. Turn ignition OFF.
5. Open and close driver's door.
6. Rotate steering wheel left or right and verify it is locked.
7. Start engine and verify no DTCs are present.
8. Re-enter customer's pre-set radio stations and perform "Power Window Initialization Procedure" as necessary.
