If not as indicated in the table, replace the front door latch and lock actuator.
Rear Door Lock-link Inspection
1. Fully open the rear door glass.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the following parts:
a. Inner garnish See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Inner Garnish

b. Rear door trim See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement
c. Rear inner handle See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Handle/Front Door Interior Handle/Service and Repair
d. Rear door speaker See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Speaker/Service and Repair/Rear Door
Speaker Removal/Installation
e. Rear door quarter glass See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Window Glass/Service and Repair/Rear Door Quarter
Glass Removal/Installation
f.
Rear door glass See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Window Glass/Service and Repair/Rear Door Glass
Removal/Installation
g. Rear door module panel See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear Door Module Panel Removal/Installation
h. Rear door latch and lock actuator See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Latch/Service and Repair
4. If the door lock condition is to be inspected, pull the door lock-link switch cable, or press it in.
NOTE:

The door lock-link switch cable locks or unlocks only when the latch lever is locked.
