Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve: Service and Repair
Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve Removal/Installation

POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7]

CAUTION:

-

A new PCV valve must be installed if removed from the cylinder head cover.

-

Upon removal, damage will occur to the locking mechanism on the PCV valve.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement

2. Set the power steering fluid tank out of the way.  See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Power Steering/Power Steering Pump/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement

3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
