Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection
FUEL INJECTOR INSPECTION [MZI-3.7]
Resistance Inspection
1. Switch the ignition to off.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement
3. Remove the engine cover. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Cover
Removal/Installation
4. Remove the dynamic chamber. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair
5. Disconnect the fuel injector connectors.
6. Measure the resistance of the fuel injector.

If not as specified, replace the fuel injector. See: Service and Repair
