Seat Belt: Service and Repair
Adjuster Anchor Removal/Installation

ADJUSTER ANCHOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

WARNING:

-

The side air bag sensor is attached to the lower part of the B-pillar. When working around the B-pillar, disconnect the negative battery cable or
work carefully, avoiding excessive impact to the lower part of the B-pillar.

1. Remove the following parts: 

a. Front scuff plate  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Rear scuff plate  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

c. B-pillar lower trim  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

d. Front seat belt upper anchor installation bolt  See: Front Seat Belt Removal/Installation

e. B-pillar upper trim  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/B-Pillar Upper Trim Removal/Installation

2. Remove bolts.

3. Remove the adjuster anchor.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
