Shift Cable: Adjustments
SELECTOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT
1. Remove the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear console. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Console
Removal/Installation
3. Shift the selector lever to the P position.
4. Unlock the lock piece of the selector cable (selector lever side) in the order as shown in the figure.
5. Verify that the manual shaft is in the P position.
6. Lock the lock piece and safety lock of the selector cable (selector lever side) in the order as shown in the figure.
