DESCRIPTION
Some reports have been received regarding the A/C evaporator on 626 vehicles which "freezes-up" and causes insufficient cooling performance. In most
cases, this condition is caused by a defective thermistor and/or a thermistor that is incorrectly installed in the evaporator. If a customer complains about
insufficient cooling performance, follow the procedures below in order to diagnose and repair evaporator freeze-up vehicles.
