Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect the oil level sensor coupler.

2.

Using tool Nos. 490259770A/B or equivalent, disconnect and cap brake fluid lines from master cylinder.

3.

Remove proportioning bypass valve attaching bolts and valve, if equipped.

4.

Remove bracket, if equipped, then the master cylinder assembly from power brake unit.

5.

Reverse procedure to install, then bleed master cylinder.
