BLUE-WHITE WIRE CHECK AT CONDENSER FAN MOTOR
Step 6. Ground the blue-white wire at the condenser fan motor.
CHECKING RESULTS
A.
If the condenser fan motor operates, proceed to Step 7.
B.
If the condenser fan motor does not operate, repair or replace the condenser fan motor.
YELLOW WIRE CHECK AT CONDENSER FAN RELAY CONNECTOR
CONDENSER FAN RELAY CHECK
Step 7. Check the yellow wire for power at the condenser fan relay connector.
Note:
You will notice two relays located next to each other that look the same, check color codes for positive identification.
CHECKING RESULTS
A.
If no power exists, check the yellow wire for a loss of continuity between the 20 AMP fuse marked "Cooling Fan" and condenser fan relay
connector.
B.
If power exists, follow the (3) steps below in order to troubleshoot the condenser fan relay.
(1)
Remove cooling fan relay from connector.
(2)
Apply 12 volts to terminals 1 & 2 as shown.
(3)
Using OHM meter, check for continuity between terminals 3 & 4 as shown.

If continuity exists, reconnect the cooling fan relay and proceed to step 8.
