*Note: The horn contact cannot be replaced on 626 and RX-7 combination switches for vehicles with cluster switches. If cluster switches are installed,
replace the combination switch as a unit.

Horn Assembly

Screw Locations

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Check the operation of horn, horn relay and electrical connectors. (Refer to Wiring Diagram)

2.

Remove steering wheel. (Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 15)

3.

Remove column cover and combination switch.

Caution:

Before removing the combination switch, place all the switches in the following position in order to simplify disassembly and
assembly.

Light Switch - Park lights on

^

Dimmer Switch - Hi beam

^

Turn Signal Switch - off

^

Hazard Switch - off

4.

Remove the screws to the light and dimmer switch assembly and remove the assembly. (Refer to applicable Workshop Manual, Section 15)

Caution:

After removal, do not change the position of any switch in the assembly.
