Grease

NOTE:

The repair kit type D (G031 72 56X) does not include an O-ring .Instead, the butyl rubber sealant is applied onto the gear case cover.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

REMOVAL OF WORM GEAR

1.

Straighten the two (2) catches by using a flat tipped screwdriver. Then remove the gear case cover.

NOTE:

The cover for type D kit may be difficult to remove because it is securely sealed with butyl rubber sealant.

2.

Remove the snap ring and disassemble the inner parts.

II. REINSTALLATION

1.

Apply enough grease to the portion shown.

Install new inner parts and fasten them with a new snap ring.

Fit the snap ring securely.

NOTE:

Make sure that there is no foreign substance in the gear case cover.
