Using tool No. 490259770A or equivalent, disconnect and plug brake line.

Remove caliper attaching bolts, then the caliper, Fig. 5.

Reverse procedure to install.
Caliper, Overhaul
1.
Position a thick piece of wood into the caliper pit, and gradually blow compressed air from the fluid pipe hole and remove piston. If the piston is
seized and cannot be forced from the caliper, gently tap around the piston while applying air pressure.

Remove bleeder screw from caliper, if necessary.
3.
Remove piston retainer and dust seal, Fig. 5.
4.
Remove piston seal, dust boot, rubber caps and bushing.

Thoroughly clean disassembled components using clean brake fluid or alcohol and blow drying them with compressed air. Do not use petroleum
based solvents to clean the caliper components.
6.
Replace rubber caps, bushing, dust boot, piston seal and dust seal.
7.
Ensure the piston seal does not twist and is seated correctly in the seal groove.
8.
Lubricate the caliper, bushings and dust seal with suitable caliper grease.
9.
Install retainer, then using compressed air, install piston into caliper.
