1.

Disconnect vacuum line from purge control valve two Fig. 39.

2.

Apply vacuum to valve using a suitable vacuum pump and attempt to blow through the valve.

3.

Air should flow through the valve when more than 13.59 inches Hg vacuum is applied and should not flow when less than 7.09 inches Hg vacuum
is applied.
