Coasting Richer Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection

1.

Start and operate engine at idle speed.

2.

Using a suitable jumper wire, ground check connector terminal BrBFig. 10.

3.

When grounding check connector terminal BrB, engine speed should increase.

4.

If engine speed does not increase, check and, if necessary, replace coasting richer solenoid valve.
