DESCRIPTION
A modified dust cover has been installed on 626 front and rear adjustable shock absorbers since the production on December 2, 1983.
When replacing the front or rear shock absorbers on vehicles prior to this production date, always replace the dust covers and bump stoppers with the
modified ones.
FRONT & REAR ADJUSTABLE SHOCK ABSORBER
NOTE:
When installing the bump stopper, apply a light coat of silicon lubricant or multi-purpose grease on the piston rod to ease the installation of the bump
stopper. Wipe the excess lubricant off the piston rod after installation of the bump stopper.
