Repair Procedure:
Step 1: Before starting to repair the wiper motor, diagnose the wiper motor operation as follows.
NOTE:
This procedure is applicable to repair the damaged gear of the wiper motor.

Apply battery voltage to "L" (blue) wire and ground "LW" (blue/white).
^
Make sure the motor rotates smoothly without any drag.
^
If the motor either fails to operate or rotates erratically, go to Step II.
