Brake Caliper: Service and Repair
Removal/Installation
Front
1.
Loosen front lug nuts, then raise and support vehicle and remove front wheel assemblies.
2.
Remove brake hose to caliper attaching bolt, then disconnect and plug brake hose.
3.
Remove caliper attaching bolts and the caliper.
4.
Reverse procedure to install.
Rear
1.
Raise and support rear of vehicle.
2.
Remove tire and wheel assembly.
3.
Disconnect and cap brake lines.
4.
Remove caliper guide pin bolts and cover.
5.
Remove caliper assembly.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
