Air Cleaner Housing: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. Check the air cleaner element for excessive dirt and for oil and damage.

Caution: Cleaning the element with compressed air will reduce the element's ability to filter the air. Don't use compressed air to clean the element.

2. Replace the element if necessary.
